The web portal will be an extension of the SmartMED application, giving its users more functionality. Users will be able to join groups, or invite others to follow them in order to help maintain medication adherence. Concerned family members or individuals can follow users to view their adherence and get alerts of when non-adherence occurs. Researchers may use it to manage groups of individuals to easily collect adherence data and identify non-adherence sooner.

The application will alert you at the right time, every time, when to take your medication. By using the application, you'll have an accurate record of your medication adherence history."
